I took this with my new 50mm 1.8. It's taking me a little getting used to. I took a bunch of shots, and of ALL of them, only 3 were decent. It was hard to get her to sit still. You can't believe the lengths I had to go to to get her to sit there like that because, she doesn't mind me, lol. Anyway, here it is. That's as good as it got that night.

It is really hard to focus when you don't have any contrast. On a human eye, you can aim at the area where the iris meets the white. On a dog, it's all dark. I think you need to go to the store and buy a doll to practice on :)
